FAQ:

Q: How fast does my internet connection need to be to avoid ‘re-buffering’?

A: Each provider decides how much bandwidth is required for their media on an individual basis. See your content provider’s site for their recommendation. A good general minimum guideline is to have at least 1 megabit per second (mbps) of available bandwidth. Some very high quality, HD content can run as high as 4, 5 or 6 mbps.

Q: What about Parental Controls?

A: The EVTV application on the Roku requires that a PIN code be entered before any previews or content can be seen. You set up the PIN when you registered your device with the channel of the video provider.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?

A: You can cancel your subscription by following this link to the GTBill payment services.

Q: How long do I have to watch a movie before it expires?

A: Each provider sets the amount of time you have access to any given piece of content. This policy will vary according to how content is sold as well (subscription vs. pay-pre-view, etc). See your content provider’s site for details.

Q: What other platforms is EVTV going to support and when will they be released?

A: EVTV doesn’t disclose details about future services, but we can tell you that we are currently developing for additional platforms. Watch our News and Devices pages for more information over the coming months.

Q: Will the Roku Digital Video Player work with my TV?

A: If your TV has a composite (RCA jack) input the Roku will work right out of the box. If you have newer input options (component, HDMI) the Roku also has these types of outputs but requires additional cables (EVTV suggests you buy the Premium Cable Pack from Roku – very economical compared to most local buying options). If your TV has only a 75Ω cable input, you can get an inexpensive composite-to-75Ω-cable adapter at most stores that carry TV accessories and it will work as well.  These options cover about every TV made in the last 20 years or so. For complete details on compatibility and options see the Roku support forum.

Q: Where does EVTV get it’s content?

A: EVTV partners with quality adult content providers for a variety of genre. EVTV simply provides the service that allows that content to be delivered to a variety of set top devices. For all the available content providers check out www.EroticVision.tv.

Q: I have forgotten or I need to change my PIN. What should I do?

A: You can change your PIN by using this Change PIN link. A confirmation email with instructions will be sent you the email address you registered at EroticVision.TV with.
